Sauvignon was imported from France. He was purchased on the strength of his calves, who like Sauvignon showed tremendous muscling and length and all were like peas in a pod.

Vigot introduces a a completely new bloodline to the herd.

Sired by Hammel Luc and from one of the top herds in France, Vigot was third at the National show in France in September 2005. [more facts and figures]

Haltcliffe Olympus was purchased at Carlisle May 2005 for 5,250 guineas. He has produced progeny at 10,000gns, 8,500gns, 7,500gns, 7,000gns and 5,700gns.

He walks very well considering his age and has a tremendous hind quarter, this bull will run with the taller cows in the herd.

Taquin is a senior stock bull in the herd, he was purchased in France in February 2003 at a sale after being placed first in his class.

Taquin has a very interesting pedigree with the famous Jersey coming in as a grand sire, his dam Joconde is a big upstanding cow very correct with deep hindquarters.

After Omis B our senior stock bull was placed Champion at Villentepe we travelled down to Domaine Des Forges to see his progeny and this tremendous bull calf stuck out, suckling his mother in the field across the hedge from Omis’s progeny. After purchasing Taquin we weren’t looking for another Stock bull but we couldn’t let this boy slip through our fingers.
