Ron and Chris Andrews, Limousin breeders from
Australia have used Savignon and Vigot semen
and now have calves on the ground.
They run about 65 head mainly
French Pure but have recently deviated to some
pure polled and black polled due to commercial
pressures, and use 8 Friesian x Angus female
recipients for embryos.
The Clearday Park stud is about 4 hours drive
south west of Sydney in NSW, at 770 metres above
sea level, temp range from -5 to 35 degrees and
can get snow in winter.
